Set aside time for you and your spouse to be alone.
Fix your spouse his/her favorite meal rather than going out. This could be a simple comfort food dinner or your favorite breakfast dish. Set a pleasing table with inexpensive flowers and engage in just-the-two-of-you conversation.
Rent a movie that your spouse would like and cuddle up on the couch.
Clean the bedroom, getting rid of any clutter and add something special, such as flowers, chocolate on the pillow, nice music, whatever....
